International Latin Harvest was founded in 1992 by Brother & Sister Walter Robbins after having lived and worked in Mexico for approximately 4 years. During the first year of the Robbins ministry, a church was started in 1989 in Reynosa, Mexico, a city of approximately 500,000 population. The Robbins also taught a Bible School in Reynosa in the early years of their ministry. Several national pastors have come out of this school. Since the first church in Reynosa the ministry has expanded to 13 churches, 10 pastors and a missionary team of 4, all under the direction and guidance of International Latin Harvest.
...working together to gather the harvest
On Thanksgiving in 1989 Terry and Laura Majors traveled to Mexico to visit Walter and Nita Robbins. It was during this visit that God placed a love for the people of Mexico in their heart. From that time on they made frequent trips to Mexico to take food and clothes and other things to the people in need. They also began to help build churches and work with the national pastors in Mexico. January 1, 2004 they began ministering full-time with International Latin Harvest in Mexico. They take groups into Mexico and they continue to take food, clothing, and other items into Mexico along with helping to establish churches there. Laura attended Rio Grande Bible Institute where she studied Spanish.
